Ohmwork is a desktop workshop for learning electronics, for Mac and Windows. You draw a circuit, press Run and watch it work with real voltages and real currents. You drop in an Arduino and it runs your own compiled sketch, pin by pin. Then you follow lessons that check the circuit you actually built, and tell you in plain English what is wrong with it when something is.
It is not released yet. This site is here ahead of it for two reasons.
The first is the free taster: six of the workshop’s sixty-four lessons, running in your browser on the same kind of solver, with the same checks on your work. There is nothing to install and nothing you build is sent anywhere. If you have ever wondered why that resistor is next to the LED, start there.
The second is the release list. When the workshop ships, when new free lessons appear and when the courses grow, the list hears first. It is release news only, never more than monthly, and you can leave with one click.
Everything else about the workshop, from the five courses to the six Arduino boards it can simulate, is on the front page.
